Viet Nam Government and UN review joint work programme

HA NOI – The Government of Viet Nam and the United Nations reviewed their joint work on gender in 2010 and proposed the directions for their focus on gender planning for 2011. The UN Trust Fund in Support of Actions to Eliminate Violence against Women (UN Trust Fund) was established by UN General Assembly resolution 50/166 in 1996 and is managed by UN Women on behalf of the UN system. The UN Trust Fund is the only multilateral grant-making mechanism exclusively devoted to supporting local and national efforts to end violence against women and girls.
